Verner Panton Wire Table Lamp Verpan | ⌀30 and ⌀40cm
Verner Panton
The Wire Panton table lamp was designed in 1972 by Verner Panton for the manufacturer Verpan. The high demand for this design classic led to its relaunch by the manufacturer in 2009. Its striking, unconventional form has significantly contributed to its enduring success. The intriguing combination of wire frame and plastic is reminiscent of a lightbulb.
The wire frame features vertical struts and concentrically arranged rings. It forms a cylindrical base and transitions into a sphere at the top. The plastic cap seals the sphere.
