The Topan is one of Verner Panton`s most iconic designs. He created it in 1959 as a pendant lamp. With the VP13, &Tradition presents the design as a table lamp. The round aluminum shade sits atop a clear acrylic frame, creating the illusion that it is floating. The light is directed downwards, onto a bedside table, sideboard, or windowsill.
It is compact, has clean proportions, and is unmistakably Panton. The shade is available in Grey Beige, Chrome, or Vermilion Red.
