Bubble Chair by Eero Aarnio

Based on the design of the Ball Chair, Danish designer Eero Aarnio wanted to brighten up his design a little and bring more light into it. He had the idea of a transparent ball into which light could penetrate from all sides. At the end of the 1960s, acrylic was used to make lampshades. The material was heated and inflated like a soap bubble. Eero contacted a manufacturer who used this process and asked him if it would be possible to turn an oversized bubble into a hanging chair. He said yes, and so the Bubble Chair was born.

The acoustic properties of the Bubble Chair are an experience in itself - a small cocoon that shields you from the outside world. It creates a unique feeling of peace and serenity, a few minutes of absolute relaxation in the midst of everyday noise.

The Bubble Chair is made of acrylic glass with a stainless steel frame. The polyurethane foam cushions, which are covered with leather in various colors, ensure comfort.
