Werner Max Moser is a Swiss architect and furniture designer from Zurich. His professional career began in 1916 when he began studying architecture with his father Karl Moser at the ETHZ. After graduating in 1921, he completed an internship in the office of Grandpré Molière in Rotterdam.
He spent the next two years in Frank Lloyd Wright's office in the USA. This time shaped his artistic sense and his love of skyscrapers. When he returned to Switzerland, he designed his first furniture in his father's office. Later he became a member of the Swiss collective group that took over the furnishing of several apartments in Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's Weissenhof block.
