Bauhaus pendant lamp HL 99

As early as 1900, an unknown designer created one of the first designs for lighting fixtures for electric light bulbs: this hanging lamp, consisting of a chrome-plated or polished brass tube with an opal ball. Many architects, such as Peter Behrens, Adolf Loos and Josef Hoffmann, used it indoors. At the Bauhaus there were similar designs by Marianne Brandt and Hans Przyrembel. In the 1920s and 1930s, this lamp was produced in large numbers and used primarily in schools and offices.

25 cm and 40 cm opal ball (other sizes available on request). The chrome-plated tube is 1m long.
