Altorfer lounge chair by Embru | Spaghetti garden chair without armrests
Werksentwurf
The Altorfer garden chair, also known colloquially as the ‹‹Spaghetti chair››, is one of the most famous Swiss design classics in the garden furniture sector. It was designed by Huldreich Altorfer, the son of the then director of the Embru company, in 1948. The Spaghetti chair owes its success to its pleasant seating comfort, its timeless shape and its extremely robust design.
All Embru Altorfer garden chairs have the same, tried-and-tested construction – the hot-dip galvanized round steel tube, which is hand-stretched with colored plastic cords.
