Péclard 11-020 stool from horgenglarus

Michel Peclard

The stool is the only work of furniture design by the Swiss graphic artist and sculptor Michel Péclard. The close friend of Jean Tinguely and Niki de Saint Phalle has created a legendary piece with this minimalist design. The three identical parts made of molded plywood with veneer on both sides create a stool with a typical look and feel, yet it is completely unique. A design that still applies to our time.

The very light péclard stool from horgenglarus is appreciated for its relaxed seating thanks to its slight curvature. In addition to the living area, the stackable stool is also recommended as object furniture. It is often used in exhibitions, such as 'This is modern' by the German Werkbund at the 14th Architecture Biennale in Venice in 2014. Due to its sculptural form, it is often used for advertising motifs.
