Three-round table by Max Bill | Dining table Ø 110 cm | Linoleum black and blue
Max Bill
The "Tables en forme" first designed by Charlotte Perriand in the 1930s became popular in the 1950s as kidney-shaped tables. In addition to the free forms of almost all known examples, Max Bill's three-round table, created around 1949/50, appears taut and precise. The construction of three circles determines its geometric shape. The three-round table - designed as a low and high model - marks a high point in Max Bill's campaign for design reform.
