Model Tripod Floor Lamp HM8 floor lamp by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen

The Tripod Floor Lamp HM8 reflects the clean minimalism of Danish design masters Hvidt & Mølgaard. Made of lacquered aluminum and steel with brass details, the lamp creates a fine balance between the strict simplicity of its design and the softness created by the curved edges of its tripod base. Although the lamp was designed in 1953, it is now being launched for the first time by &Tradition.

The lampshade is made from a single piece of aluminum. The base is made from bent steel tubes and welded together. The floor lamp has a satin finish and is available in various colors.
