Type 600 Mod. 1951 floor lamp by Rosmarie and Rico Baltensweiler

The balanced TYPE 600 floor lamp was designed and manufactured in 1951 by Rosmarie and Rico Baltensweiler for their own use. Innovative technology and simple design were successful and led to the founding of the company. The Baltensweiler lamp has been sold in exclusive furniture stores since 1951, previously in series of 100 to 500 pieces, today for enthusiasts in smaller series.

As a result of the high demand, the TYPE 600 in its original form will be reissued in a limited edition for the 60th anniversary of the Baltensweiler company in 2011.
