Mezzaluna floor lamp by Bruno Gecchelin | DCW éditions
Bruno Gecchelin
Mezzaluna is a half-moon shaped floor lamp designed in 1975 by Bruno Gecchelin, an absolute reference of Italian design. The lamp was originally produced by Skipper, an Italian design company. It was equipped with halogen lighting and immediately became a masterpiece. However, its success did not last over time due to consumption and excessive heating and production was stopped.
light source:
Until Frédéric Winkler, founder of DCW éditions, contacted Bruno Gecchelin in 2022 through his son Lorenzo to redesign the lamp and adapt it to modern LED technology. After several months of work, the lamp was reborn, but with the same unmistakable style that made it an icon of Italian design.
The adjustable height and diffuser allow you to direct the light where you want it, while the marble base maintains the vintage charm of the lamp.
