Verner Panton
This timeless Moon lamp was designed in 1960 by Verner Panton and Louis Poulsen. Modelled on the moon, the waxing and waning of the moon can be simulated by arranging the ring-shaped discs around the light source. The fan-shaped slats of the Varpan lamp reflect the light and their flexible arrangement means that the intensity and effect of the room light can be individually changed without much effort.
