Wire Large table lamp by Verner Panton for Verpan
Verner Panton
The Wire Panton table lamp was designed in 1972 by the designer Verner Panton for the manufacturer Verpan. The great demand for this design classic led to the manufacturer reissuing the unique lamp in 2009. Its impressive, unconventional shape has contributed significantly to its long-lasting success. The interesting combination of wire frame and plastic is reminiscent of a light bulb.
The wire frame is provided with vertical struts and concentrically arranged rings. It forms a cylindrical base and turns into a ball in the upper area. The plastic cap closes off the ball.
