Honett 16-700 Bank of Horgenglarus

The honett bench from horgenglarus combines characteristic, traditional elements with modern lightness. The turned front legs are inserted into the robust seat in a traditional manner, giving the bench a typical appearance. A new feature is the insertion system for the curved rear legs, which was developed specifically for the design and makes it possible to give the model something contemporary and delicate.

The history of honett begins in the product design department of Blocher Partners, who were commissioned to furnish the restaurant they designed for the Rothaus State Brewery in the Black Forest. The accompanying seating was intended to combine the traditional and somewhat rough appearance of the region with the spirit of the times and a fine, international flair.

After an initial draft, the designers from Blocher Partners consulted horgenglarus. Together, the construction was refined and worked out in detail. As a result, the horgenglarus honett collection impresses with a solid and stable construction that is nevertheless light, reduced and elegant.
