SE 18 folding chair by Egon Eiermann | Natural beech and black stained
Egon Eiermann
The SE 18 folding chair is a symbol of the potential of minimalism to meet even the most demanding spatial requirements.
It combines optimal functionality with the highest form. The folding chair made of beechwood, designed by Egon Eiermann in 1952, is stable in use and requires little storage space. These properties led to the design being exhibited in the New York Museum of Modern Art in 1953, the Ulm School of Design in 1955 and the World Exhibition in Brussels in 1958.
