Safran 1-180 chair from horgenglarus

The safran chair from horgenglarus is characterized by a harmonious combination of elegance, sophistication and traditional craftsmanship.

Based on the design language of the classic, the legendary Horgenglarus factory design, the seating furniture impresses with an aesthetic reduction that characterizes the original type of chair and suits many furnishing styles and atmospheres. At the same time, the factory design from 1930 impresses with its maximum seating comfort. The backrest nestles comfortably against the body and encloses the back. The rear legs and the seat frame are massively curved and ensure a solid and robust construction.

The Swiss designer and interior designer Frédéric Dedelley chose the safran when he was able to choose a chair for the "Sternen Grill" at Zurich's Bellevue: "I chose the safran because it has a beautiful, curved and very comfortable backrest. The chair also offers plenty of space for the star motif I designed, which I had the specialists at horgenglarus decorate the backrest and seat with," explains Dedelley.
