Glass fruit bowl by Matias Moellenbach

A fruit bowl like this rarely graces our tables. Danish designer Matias Moellenbach seeks new forms for everyday materials, creating unique products in the process. Inspired by the wave-like plastic or cardboard packaging often used to display fruit outside shops, this form is now reflected in the glass fruit bowl. The waves in the glass reflect the light, and the fruit nestles perfectly into the glass indentations. Form, size, and material combine as if they were always meant to be this way. Slight, localized cloudiness in the glass is normal.
