Cantilever chair S 32 VL by Marcel Breuer for Thonet

The cantilever chair S 32 (artistic copyright: Mart Stam) is one of the most popular and well-known tubular steel furniture. This design icon is at home in many design worlds and areas of use. As a lounge chair, the design combines architectural lines, clear design and special comfort.

The swinging of the tubular steel frame also contributes a great deal to the comfort of the S 32 Lounge. The typical characteristics of the cantilever chair are combined here with the design features of lounge furniture. The S 32 Lounge does not have armrests and thus allows for communicative sitting next to and with one another in a relaxed position.

Thanks to its adjusted seat height of 40 cm, the lounge chair can be ideally combined with sofas, but in contrast to upholstered armchairs, it impresses with its formal lightness and compact dimensions. The light lounger does not take up much space, but appears transparent, open and spacious thanks to the airy tubular steel frame.
