Thierry Barbier-Mueller's chair collection juxtaposes the beautifully formed with the brutal, thus forming an antithesis to mainstream design. Renowned authors discuss the interplay between design and art, the passion of collecting and the tradition of a family of collectors. The collector himself admits to his obsession, which offers him freedom and inspiration.
