Altorfer chair by Embru | Spaghetti garden chair without armrests
Huldreich Altorfer
The Altorfer chair, also known colloquially as the ‹‹Spaghetti chair››, is one of the most famous Swiss design classics in the garden furniture sector. It was designed by Huldreich Altorfer, the son of the then director of the Embru company, in 1948. The Spaghetti garden chair owes its success to its timeless shape and extremely robust design.
All Embru Altorfer garden chairs have the same tried and tested construction in common - the hot-dip galvanized round steel tube, which is hand-stretched with colored plastic cords. All models are ideal for combining with the Embru garden tables by Max Ernst Haefeli.
