The de Sede DS-600 conquers the world

Tina Turner is said to have one in her living room, as are Jerry Hall and Mick Jagger. Even Pierce Brosnan regularly sat on it as James Bond, and Jennifer Lawrence in “The Hunger Games” also sat on the unmistakable “DS-600”. With 406 upholstered elements in rainbow colors, the currently longest endless sofa is in the palace of the ruling family of a sultanate. The snake-like Tatzelwurm is undoubtedly one of the most famous and powerful designs by the Swiss furniture manufacturer de Sede.

The de Sede DS-600 sofa was launched in 1972. It is a variable upholstery module system consisting of individual, addable elements. These consist of an L-shaped hard foam core, which is covered with a down-filled and leather-covered cushion. The elements are connected with a plug-in hinge and a construction made of leather and a zipper.
