The 2000 range is a contemporary reference to Thonet`s origins. The 2002 sofa and the 2001 armchair, both highly recognizable, are based on an airy frame made of bent wood, which each spans a floor-length, lush seat cushion and forms the armrests. The filigree wooden frame gives the sofa and armchair a particularly light appearance - they also look good freestanding. The sofa`s loose back and side cushions can be combined as desired. Thanks to its reduced form and high level of seating comfort, the bentwood sofa is not only suitable for private use. It also makes a sociable meeting place in modern office landscapes.
