Wulff ATD2 armchair from &Tradition

The Wulff Lounge Chair by &Tradition is a tribute to the craftsmanship and Danish aesthetics of the 1930s. The Wulff upholstered chair was first produced in 1938 in a traditional Danish workshop. The subtleties of the craftsmanship are visible in the shape of the chair: the sculptural armrests and the generous, wing-shaped backrest are based on exceptional woodworking skills.

&Tradition bought one of the few armchairs still in circulation at an auction held by Bruun Rasmussen and studied the history of this classic Danish design piece in detail for the reissue. Since each piece was made by hand in very limited numbers, the original designer was unfortunately never discovered.

The &Tradition Wulff lounge chair provides exceptional comfort thanks to its soft upholstery. It is compact, expressive and fits into all types of rooms. The chair also comes with a matching pouf, which is also available from us (see `matching products`).
