Wall shelf by Atelier Alinea | 95 x 208 cm

No dowels, no supports: a single plate and gravity are enough to hold the Atelier Alinea shelf. Five shelves are cut out of a multiplex plate. They are held in place by a steel bracket and press against the wall when loaded. The shelf leans casually against the wall, amazes and demonstrates what would be necessary elsewhere too: creating good design with as little material as possible.
