Ulmer Stool by Max Bill | Walnut
Max Bill
The Ulm Stool was designed in 1954 by Max Bill, the first rector of the Ulm School of Design, in collaboration with Hans Gugelot for the students of the HfG and manufactured in the school's own carpentry workshop using donated wood.
The simple Ulm stool is a multifunctional piece of furniture and a real all-rounder. Light and robust, it can be used in many ways as a seat, side table, bedside table or shelf element, but can also serve as a mobile carrying aid for books and magazines, a serving tray or table top.
The wb form Ulmer stool is also available in all other versions: in original natural spruce, in colored stained birch or with a drawer.
