The Italian designer and artist Valerio Berruti designed the two sofas Summertime and Autumntime in a limited edition of 250 pieces each for Gufram. Summertime, a couch that is intended as an invitation to sweet idleness; for comfortable relaxation on warm summer days, just like the title of George Gershwin`s `Summertime... the living`s easy`. Autumntime, the same “dolce far niente” extended into autumn, the choice of colors adapted to the season.
Instead of a hard wooden bench, the two Gufram sofas offer a soft seat made of polyurethane foam, which is hand-painted in blue or brown with the Guflac® Plus paint specially developed and patented by Gufram.
