Bold carpet by Kvadrat

The Kvadrat Bold carpet is woven from a combination of mechanically and hand-spun yarns, creating a thick, warm and expressive carpet. It has weight, an irregular surface and excellent feel - a quality that Hella Jongerius believes is "the most important and well-known quality of a good carpet".

Bold is made by skilled weavers from India, with the yarns dyed after spinning. This creates a very interesting effect as the dye does not penetrate all the way to the middle of the yarn.

With its understated color palette and simple yet striking asymmetrical design, the Kvadrat Bold rug adds a special touch to a room, structures it and makes it easier to place furniture.
