Folding table by Lehni | 55 x 35 x 68 cm
Willy Boesiger
The Lehni folding table was designed by Willi Boesiger, who worked in the studio of the architect Le Corbusier in Paris in the late 1920s. Like most of Le Corbusier`s colleagues, Boesiger was influenced by the master`s work throughout his life.
The Lehni folding table is not only elegant, but also practical and compact and can be used as a small bistro table, side table, console or shelf. It is a relic from Lehni`s founding period, when the company was still located near the Zurich Schauspielhaus and, in addition to producing Boesiger`s timeless folding table, was primarily active as a specialised metalworking business.
