Gufram

The Italian brand Gufram was founded in 1965 as a creative laboratory for the furniture manufacturer Fratelli Gugliermetto and is based in Barolo in the Italian Piedmont. Influenced by the avant-garde art and radical design of the 1960s, the Gugliermetto brothers began testing new materials for the production of design products. They primarily used polyurethane plastics, which, thanks to a new type of cold foam molding, enabled revolutionary designer furniture that is still among the world's most famous masterpieces of furniture design today.
