The Orange Chair by Hans Olsen | Upholstered seat
Hans Olsen
The light, elegant Orange Chair was designed in the 1950s by renowned Danish designer and architect Hans Olsen. Thanks to its classic look, the chair effortlessly complements the existing furniture in the home and enriches the room with timeless Danish design.
The Orange Chair by Hans Olsen is one of the earliest and most famous shell chairs and got its name from its characteristic backrest and seat, which are reminiscent of two orange peels. The frame of the Warm Nordic chair is available in white oiled, smoked or black lacquered oak. The upholstery is available in various fabrics, colors and leather for the seat only or the seat and back. There is also an unupholstered version made entirely of wood (see The Orange Chair Wood).
