Joe armchair by Poltronova
Jonathan De Pas, Donato D’Urbino, Paolo Lomazzi
The Joe Chair by Poltronova is a large, comfortable armchair in the shape of a giant baseball glove mounted on invisible wheels. The armchair was designed in 1970 by Jonathan De Pas, Donato D'Urbino and Paolo Lomazzi, who, with this project inspired by the poetics of Pop Art, gave material form to their admiration for the legendary American baseball star Joe DiMaggio.
With a bold shift in scale, they transformed the glove into an inviting seat that becomes the focal point in every home.
The Joe Chair also comes with the matching Joe Ball stool, which is also available from us.
