Pierre Paul designed the futuristic Ribbon Chair in 1966. He received the American Industrial Design Award for the design. And rightly so: This design classic is characterized by its ingenious lines and is a true seating sculpture.
The organic, slightly springy shape of the Ribbon Chair makes the chair particularly comfortable. The metal frame of the ribbon chair is covered with foam, then with fabric and stands on a lacquered wooden base in white, silver-grey, black or red.
