Welle 6 by Verner Panton for Verpan
Verner Panton
The seating module “The Wave” was created by Verner Panton in 1970 and reissued in 2016 by the Danish manufacturer Verpan. The individual modules are best combined with each other to create a seating landscape, but can also be used individually.
In 1970, Verner Panton created a spectacular installation. He presented his living world together with Bayer AG on a Rhine steamer in Cologne. The psychedelic and breathtaking seating became the absolute highlight. These wave modules consist of a wooden frame and the seat is equipped with comfortable upholstery.
