Soap by Toiletpaper for Gufram

The Soap object by Gufram is the realization of one of the most striking images from Toiletpaper, the joint project of the artist Maurizio Cattelan and the photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari. An oversized, bitten piece of soap (the bite is, incidentally, the imprint of the mouth of Maurizio Cattelan`s fiancée) is the (in)tangible answer to the age-old problem of cleaning and cleaning. Gufram`s Soap is also the first bar of soap that is not consumed by water and is therefore perfect for outdoor use.

Soap can be used as a low table, seating, pouf or whatever you like. Soap is made from flexible polyurethane foam. At Gufram, it is manufactured by hand using Guflac Ultra, a special paint patented by Gufram.

Maurizio Cattelan, who now lives in New York, is considered one of the most important artists of our time. He creates lifelike objects and uses them to stage bizarre and provocative situations such as the golden toilet in the Guggenheim Museum. At the same time, he publishes the art photography magazine Toiletpaper together with the Italian photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari.

Soap is limited to only 300 copies worldwide.
