BURRI Landi bench | Memorie special edition
Werkentwurf
The Landi bench from BURRI public elements combines tradition and modernity and tells the story of the nationally popular design classic. The classic is now available exclusively for Memorie in a 170cm version.
The tubular steel frame with the original geometry from 1939 represents the objectivity of the Bauhaus style and the uninterrupted production of Landi benches at BURRI since then. The hot-dip galvanization and the hand-picked Swiss larch wood represent the proven quality aspects of a modern Landi bench.
Designer: Charles Hoch and Alfred Altherr designed for the Swiss National Exhibition in 1939.
