Prato carpet by Poltronova
Prato, Farfalla and Cielo are three carpet interpretations inspired by the Farfalla pattern, designed by the Archizoom design group in 1967. The pattern is inspired on the one hand by Art Nouveau decor and its typical floral patterns, and on the other hand by the experiments that took place in Pop Art during those years.
The result in carpet form is an explosion of primary colors and simple geometric shapes overlaid with decorative motifs, typical of the productions of artists such as Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol.
