Attica Chair by Studio 65 for Gufram

Studio 65

The iconic Attica armchair was designed by Studio 65 in 1972 and is sold by the legendary Italian manufacturer Gufram. The Attica armchair, along with the Attica table and the Capitello lounger, is part of a Gufram collection inspired by archaeological finds from Greece. The columns of the Erechtheion on the Acropolis in Athens were the model for this 1970s furniture. In combination with the other elements of the collection, an entire column can be built from polyurethane (see second image).

The surface of the Gufram Attica armchair is made of Guflac, a special paint patented by Gufram, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The finish simulates the marble of the Parthenon and contrasts with the softness and lightness of the polyurethane.

The Attica armchair is limited to only 1000 pieces worldwide.
