Little Petra VB1 armchair by Viggo Boesen

Viggo Boesen

The Little Petra Chair by designer Viggo Boesen was first presented at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers Guild Exhibition in 1938. The Boesen chair was immediately met with praise and won awards at exhibitions in Berlin and New York, among others. It is one of the designs that Boesen made in the 1930s that is characterized by its soft, lush and organic aesthetic as the approach of the Bauhaus style of the time.

The design of the &tradition Litte Petra armchair is extremely inviting: the deep seat and the wide, curved backrest ensure exceptional comfort. The curved ears immediately make you feel safe. Four round wooden legs form the base of the armchair and their shape underlines the organic design language of the armchair.

The Little Petra Lounge Chair from &Tradition fits perfectly into an existing seating group, but also makes a great eye-catcher when standing on its own.
