Michele De Lucchi
Michele De Lucchi was born in Ferrara, Italy in 1951. An important representative of Italian postmodernism, member of the Alchimia group and then of the Memphis Milano group, he has also distinguished himself through his designs for other manufacturers such as Olivetti, Artemide (Tolomeo), Alessi, Alias, Kartell, etc.
He designed numerous icons of the Memphis movement, including the Oceanic lamp (1981), the Flamingo (1984) and Kristall (1981) tables, and the First chair (1983).
The First chair is made of colored lacquered metal and wood. With Memphis Milano seal and certificate of authenticity.
