Tahiti table lamp by Ettore Sottsass for Memphis Milano

The Tahiti lamp, designed by Ettore Sottsass in 1981, is probably the most famous flagship of the Memphis Milano group.

The eccentric Memphis lamp consists of a rectangular base made of plastic laminate with the typical black and white Sottsass Bacterio pattern. At the end of the long yellow neck sits the lamp head made of pink painted metal with a red beak. The head is rotatable so that the light can be directed as required.
