Guframini Cactus Drocco / Mello

Since 2018, Gufram has been producing miniatures of its most iconic objects under the title Guframini. In this way, the impressive pop art design objects can also beautify the desk, shelf or storage area. The miniatures are faithful replicas in 1:8 scale and, like the originals, are made of polyurethane foam.

With the Guframini Cactus, special attention was paid to a detailed replica of the design icon. Like the original, the miniature Cactus has 2165 cactus spines and is based on the green of the first Cactus edition, which is now sold out.

The famous original Gufram Cactus was designed in 1972 by Guido Drocco and Franco Mello. As an ironic totem, it embodies the design ideas and design humor of this era in the 1970s. The Cactus can be used as a wardrobe or as a decorative element. Gufram always intended that the Cactus would be produced in limited editions in one color scheme.
