The two artists Fien Muller and Hannes van Severen from Ghent have made an international name for themselves under the label Muller Van Severen. Their work is situated at the intersection of design and art – the emphasis is not primarily on functionality, but rather on a play with space, form, and color. The couple`s often colorful designs are partly inspired by minimalist artists or designers such as Donald Judd, Maarten van Severen, and Sol Lewitt.
