Polar side table by Michele De Lucchi for Memphis Milano

Designed by Michele De Lucchi in 1984, the Polar table is one of four side tables (Kristall 1981, Flamingo 1984, Polar 1984 and Continental 1984) that use the same colours, motifs, materials and shapes but combine them in different ways. It is one of the classics in the Memphis Milano range.

The Memphis Polar side table combines lacquered wood with plastic laminate and consists of a yellow table top made up of two circles, supported by a narrow, black and white patterned base. A blue lacquered cylindrical support runs through the body of the table and ensures perfect stability.
