Ultrafragola mirror by Ettore Sottsass for Poltronova

Ultrafragola by Poltronova is not only a mirror, but also a lamp. The sinuous profile of the design piece, designed by Ettore Sottsass Jr. in 1970, which is reminiscent of long, wavy hair, can in fact light up.

Ultrafragola is part of the 'Mobili Grigi' series - a complete bedroom and living room furniture designed by Ettore Sottsass for the Poltronova label. With the exception of Ultrafragola, the other models in the series never made it past the prototype phase.

Note LED:
The LED system consists of over 12m of RGB strips covered by opal plexiglass covers. The lifespan of this system is more than 25,000 hours.

The system consists of two L-shaped neon tubes and 2 electronic transformers. The system has a service life of > 15,000 hours.
